An evening of celebration amongst the local wedding industry to toast Vol. 1, Hawaii Wedding Style’s inaugural annual print edition.
This Valentine’s Day marked the launch of Vol. 1 —the very first issue of Hawaii Wedding Style’s reimagined annual print edition. In celebration of this momentous occasion, Hawaii Wedding Style, alongside noteworthy partners, hosted an intimate evening affair at Oahu’s premier oceanfront hotel, Prince Waikiki.

BESPOKE, which took place on the evening of February 23, 2023 showcased a variety of the islands’ elite products and services offered by wedding industry professionals. Upon arrival, guests were greeted by The Lei Bus, a vintage Volkswagen bus, custom-styled and positioned in the hotel lobby for a chic but fun photo op.
Couples, industry professionals, and special guests were treated to the acoustic sounds of Drew Henmi as they made their way to Prince Waikiki’s Makiki Room. The event venue was dressed in rich floral accents and arrangements, custom-curated by the artistic hands of Katie at Belle de Jour. Exquisite Vibes Entertainment set the ambiance with custom lighting and emceeing during the evening.
At the venue’s entrance stood a gorgeous interactive photo backdrop, designed as the result of a collaboration between Pinky Swear Events and CM Creations. Opposite of this photography scene, Adore Decor, Hawaii’s luxury rental and design company, fashioned an intimate lounge set for guests to frequent as they sipped on their delightfully flavored mead tastings, courtesy of Manoa Honey & Mead, who also gifted everyone in attendance with a petite jar of harvested raw honey.
Throughout the course of the event, guests were able to bring their HNL Studios photo booth prints to CandiceDoodles for personalized painted details framing captured moments with colleagues and friends. All the while, delicious bites and specialty cocktails created by the culinary experts at 100 Sails circulated amongst mingling celebrants sharing their excitement for Hawaii Wedding Style’s inaugural print.

By the end of the night, Hawaii Wedding Style announced their upcoming first annual Ever After Awards—an exclusive gala honoring the best individuals, brands, and work throughout Hawaii’s wedding industry, nominated and selected by the community—to which two lucky raffle winners, Joseph Esser and Sarah Peterson, received complimentary tickets.
